This quartet comes from Texas and plays rock of an engaging quality such as I have not heard for a while. There have been only few bands which have succeeded in generating instant enthusiasm for their album. Their press kit describes the music as Texas-oriented Rock with the soul of Wilco and the power of The Replacements. And honestly, that is an accurate description. This album not only comes to life through the powerful music, but also through the strongly expressive voice of mastermind Fritz Beer. I already look forward to a live show.
